First Doctor Visit

I went to the doctor today and thought that I would just update everyone on what is happening. They put me at 5 weeks and 5 days so that makes my due date May 22nd 2009. I am feeling pretty good so far other than feeling more tired but David says I am more annoyed with stuff already. I guess only time will tell at how this pregnancy will go. I will keep you all updated and keep your fingers crossed for a girl.

Brand New Bedroom

This last weekend we took on the project of painting the boys room and moving Greyson in with Ian so that he could have his own big boy bed. The room to start was all white walls and Ian was on a full sized bed. We found a bunk bed set at a yard sale for $20 and splurged a bit to buy them matching bed sets. We painted one wall a dark blue (David likes it because it is the color of the Dallas Cowboys) and the other three walls we painted a beige color. We are really happy with the way it turned out and the boys love it. Greyson adjusted well to sleeping in his bed but now instead of having it completely dark in his room like in the nursery and sleeping till 9:00 he is up way too early and wont go back to sleep. This is the before picture.

Ian and Greyson both tried their hand at painting but the rolled was a little heavy for Greyson that he didn't like it.

Here is the finished project. This is Ian's bed that I told him he has to make every day once he gets up and going. So far it hasn't been too bad with a little help from mom.

This is Greyson's bed that he was soo excited to sleep in. It is a good thing that this one had rails because he is a CRAZY sleeper and he would probably have ended up on the floor every night if it didn't have them. Now we just have to work on sleeping in a little longer for my sake.

Wyatt's Soccer Skills

I guess this is mostly for family that looks at my blog but I thought that I would get some pics of my little brother Wyatt playing soccer for the Minico JV team. He has always liked playing soccer and still has three more years to perfect his game but for now he is doing pretty good. So far this season he has made two goals and really tries to get in there and be aggressive. We are really proud of him and his hard work and wish him luck with the rest of his soccer games this season.

Announcment!

I just thought that I would let all of you know that I am expecting our third child and we are way excited. I am really hoping for a girl this time so everyone cross your fingers. I think having a little girl intimidates David because our boys are way into the sports stuff and he is way into the sports stuff so girly stuff is kind of unknown to him. Boy or girl though we will love them the same.

Ian's Lego Design

The other day Ian was playing with his legos and after a while he called us in to see his design. To our surprise we saw that he had built the Temple. When asked what it was he proudly said that it was the Temple that we had gone and seen. It is amazing what a child can take in without you knowing. We are so happy that he enjoyed the Temple enough to make it one of his designs.

Our trip to the Temple!!

What a wonderful experience to have been a part of. Going to the Twin Falls Temple open house with our family and some of our relatives was just a great blessing. The spirit that was felt that day is unforgettable. We were also blessed to have the opportunity to help with the open house. David was able to help both days of our stakes assigned days and I was able to help with one. The willingness of so many members to take time out of their busy days was so awesome. This once in a life time experience will never be forgotten.

Our two little future missionaries looking so handsome(minus their long shaggy hair)

We were also blessed to have been able to participate in the dedication of the Twin Falls Temple. Even though we were not in the presence of President Monson and other General Authorities during the dedication you could feel of their love for our Savior, for the temple, and for us as members of the church. It is such a blessing to have this temple in our midst. I hope that we can attend it often and partake of it blessings.

Playing in the water!

So it was a first at our house today, the boys finally were able to play in the water. Since we had to replant our grass at the beginning of the summer and it seemed like it took forever to grow in, the boys never could play outside on the grass or in the water. We finally decided to let them and they had a great time. We set a sprinkler out for them to run through but that never seemed to be what they wanted to do. Ian just used the sprinkler to fill up buckets and water my plants and Greyson barley got close enough to get wet. It was still great to see them play in the water and on our lawn.

Birthday Boys!

The month of August is not only busy with softball, trips, and yard work it is also both Ian and Greyson's Birthdays. This year Ian turned 4 and Greyson turned 2. We have a combined party for the two of them since their birthdays are only three days apart and so we can kill two birds with one stone. I like to be creative with their cakes so this year we had a prehistoric theme and I tried my hand at making a dinosaur cake. It really didn't take too long and I think that it turned out GREAT!! The boys had a great time opening presents and playing in the jump house with their cousins. We can't wait till next year!

They both were waiting there so patiently to open their presents.

Anxiously waiting to sink there teeth into the cake while we all sang Happy Birthday. Greyson now says Happy Birthday to you and thinks it's pretty funny.

The birthday boy is enjoying his cake and ice cream.
