Can't wait for warm

The boys just love playing outside and it is really fun because now that Greyson is Ian's little shadow, they just go every where together out there. It worries me a little though because Ian is pretty brave and Greyson just follows him where ever. In fact I had to worry a little as I watched Greyson follow Ian up this dirt hill.

Greyson is a huge fan of slides. He would play on a slide all day long if he could.

We are also watching Ian develop into such a good big brother. He often looks out for Greyson (when there not fighting that is). He also likes to help Greyson when he can't get something on his own, for example, Greyson still does not want to open doors by himself so Ian is usually there to get it for him.

Swimming at Sligers

David was working in Hagerman for a week so we decided to use it as an excuse to go swimming at Sligers. It has been so long since we have been there, in fact this is the first time we have ever taken the boys there. It is such a nice pool, and it is very empty on a Wednesday night, we had the pool all to ourselves.

The boys loved it and Ian is getting so brave in the pool that he just swims all over with his little floaty suit. Ian also fell in love with the slide that he just kept going over and over again.

Lego Creations

Occasionally Ian gets on this building kick, and here are a couple of his creations. The boys are always telling us they want a puppy, so David decided to help Ian build a Lego puppy. Ian did build the Robot by himself though, after a couple tries. He got a little frustrated because he couldn't get it to stand on its own, but finally got it to stay long enough to show David when he got home from work. He was so excited to show David it was the first thing he told him when he came in the door.

David's Birthday

For David's Birthday this year we had the chance to go to Nampa for a couple of days and we were also able to go to the Jessica Simpson/Rascal Flatts concert. It was really fun and David said, "I've been to lots of concerts and that was the best one yet." The opening act was definitely just an opening act, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as nice as the main show. The Rascal Flatts show was so full of energy that you just couldn't sit down for the whole two hours. The show was part of the Bob that head tour, and we surley did.

The audio is pretty bad because it was sooooooo loud in there and it was just too much for the mic on our digital camera, but you can still enjoy the videos. These are the three main guys at different times of the show. It was really nice because our seats were decent enough to get some pretty good pics and videos.

PBS Pals

Our boys have gradually turned themselves into
PBS junkies. This is a morning ritual now. They
used to come in and wake me up ready for breakfast
but now they just know their way around enough to
find what they want in the mornings. They really love
this cute program called "Sid the Science kid" and are
also fans of "Super Why".
