A Birthday Surprise

The weekend before the 4th we had a surprise 75th birthday party for my Grandma England. Her birthday is on the 4th so we wanted to have it before so that just her birthday was being celebrated. She was so surprised thanks to my parents who had to make up a story to get her to come to Twin Falls with them. We had some good food, enjoyed good company, and were able to celebrated my grandma. My cousins put together a slide show of pictures of my grandma and a table full of things and events that took place the year my grandma was born. At the end of the night we all let go 75 red, white, and blue balloons and gave my grandma 75 red roses. It was a great evening and I hope my Grandma England has many more years ahead of her.

A Zoo Outing

A few weekends ago we went up to Idaho Falls to attend Bump Zempke's wedding. We stayed with some frieds of ours at their house and decided to go to the Tautphaus Park Zoo during the day since none of us had ever been and the boys hadn't even been to a zoo. We had tons of fun even though it was really hot. Ian and Greyson enjoyed the petting zoo and feeding the ducks. We all enjoyed the monkeys because they are so cute and funny. One purposely put his butt in Greyson's face up against the glass. By the end of the three hours we were there we were exhausted and hot but left having had a great day!!

We once had a peacock and my mom named her Nefrateeddie.

An End to T-Ball

T-ball is finally done for the year. All the kids did great and it was alot of fun to be the coaches for the team. Each team member got a medal to take home along with their pictures they had taken earlier in the season. Coaching was fun but I think that since we have gotten it out of our system now, we are excited to just be able to go as parents and cheer on our kids.

Ian was so excited to get a medal I think that he slept with it next to him that night.

One proud mama and her super cute sports lovin' son!

A Dallas Cowboys Fan

So while I was in Seattle visiting my sister Jamie and her family I picked up a Father's Day gift for David. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and has always asked for a Cowboys jersey. I was always a little reluctant to buy one because they are sooo expensive but he has been working really hard lately and juggled a hectic schedule so that I could go to Seattle so I thought it would be fitting to give in and buy him one. He was so excited and can't hardly wait to wear it while cheering for his Cowboys.

The store we bought it at only had a Tony Romo jersey and for those of you who don't know he is the Cowboy's quarterback. I thought it very fitting for David because he always says, "I'm homo for Romo" so it made it even better to him.
